Frequently asked questions

Do I have to book to pick strawberries?

Yes! Due to Covid-19 restrictions we require everyone who wishes to pick strawberries to book. Head to the 'bookings' section or call us on 0448 598 198 😊

What are your opening hours?

Our market hall/ cafe is open 8:30am - 5:00pm 7 days a week Our kitchen is open Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am - 2:30pm Our PYO patch is open daily 9:00am - 4:00pm 7 days a week (during strawberry season)

Do you spray your strawberries?

We only use chemicals approved by the food standards Australia APVMA authority. We also use a specific integrated pest management system that utilise predator bugs to eat the larvae of the bad bugs that cause damage to the flower or fruit. Our fruit is routinely tested independently by food safety authorities to detect any residue. We are Freshcare and HARPS accredited which are some of highest food safety standards required to supply major chain stores.

Can I bring my bag into the strawberry patch?

Unfortunately we ask that all bags be left in your car or with a family member whilst you are picking. Medical bags are exempt from this rule, just let one of our friendly staff members know before entering the patch :)

I don't eat strawberries, do I still have to pay to enter?

Yes, everyone who enters the patch must pay the $5 entry fee.
